Truly, this issue is one that needs relentless attention.
I posted a few weeks ago that Australia's brush fires were starting to get out of control; well, here's what's happening now, as reported by the Washington Post: thousands of people are having to run from their homes, and we continue to hide our heads in the sand, we who are not currently being *directly* affected by climate change.
How much longer will we not hold those in power accountable? I would like to think that the answer is not *still* blowing in the wind, to quote a song-poem from long ago.
Ask *yourself*, if you haven't already: *who* in power can *you* contact, to voice your concerns? Seriously, any local representative will do; please, make your voice heard for Mother Earth, TODAY. And again, and again, and again, because, folks, pretty soon, we won't have the luxury of hiding our heads in the sand anymore...
