In case you've been hiding your head in the sand (as have most of us adults these past 30+ years) today, here's the best story around: Kids are on strike worldwide against climate change inaction. And, in fact, the Bloomberg article I just linked you to affirms they are RIGHT to do so.
Unfortunately, where I live (Omaha, NE, USA), no kids' strike formed and since I work full time, I did not have the time/energy to organize one here.
But, as Sierra Club noted to me in a FB Messenger post, kids around the world are participating:
@Haven Coleman, USA: 13 years old
@Kallan Benson, USA: 14 years old
@Luisa Neubauer, Germany: 22 years old
@Dayamis Torino Veliz, Peru: 19 years old
@Vanessa Nakate, Uganda: 22 years old
Brava, young women! You! RULE!
