I really don't like calling names (haha! okay, that might only be half true -- especially when I'm driving behind some numbskull!) but we have some legitimate birdbrains out there, that need your help.


I'm talking about actual birds! HA! fooled you. Or not.


In any case, that painful lead is to The Audubon Society's story: the one about climate change affecting life for birds. ("314 North American bird species could lose more than half of their current ranges by 2080 due to rising temperatures.")


"When you protect birds, you protect the planet." There are many actions you can take, including donating to EFFECTIVE charitable organizations, advocacy and petitioning, but the most effective one is continuing to educate yourself and taking baby steps in YOUR LIFE day after day to protect Mother Earth. If you are lucky enough to have a back yard, growing native plants is a great way to start!
